Lol - yeh I think white is a bit common these days!

I got the grill from my dealer - SERE Motors - who happen to be on this forum.

Just a little update - last week wasn't a great week for the car - got a huge stone chip on the roof and then I went to Galway for the weekend and some one has dented the door and there's a chip out of it as well.

It's not a big dent, but I hope it can be fixed so it looks perfect again. In other news I'm gonna get the spoiler for the boot :)

I dont know, I keep seeing Audi's in white, I saw a Nissan GT-R in candy white the other day.. Looked freaking awesome!! For the Ibiza, I would say, Yellow, black and red are the best colours..

A stone chip on the roof? Ouch! Are the doors on the ibiza's double skinned? If not, knock it out and get a good touch up done..

Spoilers all the way my friend!! :cartman:

Completle agree about white cars - looks good on the Jap stuff, and I even saw a white Exeo which looked really nice - but i think for small cars whites not so good.

If I could have had any colour I would have went for Speed Blue - but it's exclusive to the Cupra's and FR's :) so i settled for red, which has the bonus of being free.

yeah, and if i was buying a golf gti or audi s3 i think it would have to be white, but for the ibiza i thought it made it look a little bit like a van in all honesty. FR's and Cupra's aside though.

I was considering white but 2 of my mates have white cars, one with an A3 sportback, the other with a 1 series... for me it was a final choice between yellow or red lol glad i went for red from the standard colours though.

Quick question btw, how much did you pay for the FR grill? ive just been quoted £58.57 + VAT :\ seems a lot considering my old polo gti grill, which was much larger cost £28...

Also asked loads of questions regarding the lowering springs and this ted johnson dealer didn't answer any of them, just gave me a price £160.02 for the set.

Give SERE Motors a call mate.. I did for the first time y/day, and will be doing all my accessory shopping there.. Just as Mark has stated numerous times, David is a top man!!

Oh, and that is by far the best signature I have come across on SCN..

I paid £41 for my grille - from SERE Motors, as they're local to me and I picked it up.

They charge £5 for shipping so it's £46 if you order from them.

Haven't deal with Ted Johnson much but they generally have a decent name on the forum.

I really need to get my lowered, but I don't want to risk making the ride any firmer.

Have to agree, thats a pretty impressive sig.

I made my myself :( and it went all low quality on me.

Must get my bro to knock up something as he's a wizz in photoshop. Where as I can barely manage paint since the jazzed it up in Win 7 lol

I need to make myself a decent sig as it goes.. Yours is fine Mark, dont worry about it.. I am in the same boat as you though with the photoshop, I cant work it at all, and paint is okay, I once tried doing one of those cars on youtube.. Mine was an Audi S6.. The outline was good, but, when it come to colour and wheels, I had no chance!!

I'll give them a try :)
Thanks! glad you like it. It wasn't too complex to make, just three photo's combined with the colour mix so it all blends together. I should probably make a new one considering i have a SEAT now lol

That's a lot better than £58! although I might hold off on the grill for a bit. As you say these Sport's really need lowering. I want coilovers so bad, but ill settle for warranty friendly springs lol Going to fit them myself as well

What did you have before the seat? Polo GTI? The interior kinda looks like a polo.. I take it you did it all on photoshop? I need to go out and buy myself a copy of that! At least I now know who to get hints off! Lmao!

Correct! it was a Polo 6n2 but not the GTI, just a poverty spec one with absolutely nothing. Was also falling to bits, put me right off the mk5's tbh..the ibiza is like a revelation by comparison lol Now i want a new Polo GTI - in manual.

The picture of the dials and speed is a mk4 golf, all the rest is the polo. And yeah, all done in PS CS4...can't buy CS4 any more as it's all CS5 now though, and with sites like pirate bay and mininova going straight dodgy downloads are harder to find. I have the CS4 Ultimate collection, so it's got everything, but i also need it all for uni work :\

Yeah, it was the dials that threw me.. I was going to go for a 6N2 polo, only a 1 litre.. I am so glad I went for the Ibiza.. Because motorway cruising in a 1litre would be unbearable!

Trying to find a dodgy copy of photoshop is a pain in the ass.. I guess I will have to bite the bullet and pay full whack.. Damn piratebay!

There a free program called GIMP - don't worry, that's not a link to some rubber fetish **** site.

It stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program, and its a pretty decent free alternative to Photoshop - though I do find it really complicated, but it's probably worth a try, given that Photoshop costs an absolute fortune.

I speak from experience...yes, a 1l is a pain lmao Was very close to getting a 1.4 mk3 ibiza, but sadly my dad said at the time (bearing in mind id just written off a car lol) 'he will kill himself in that' im actually suprised i didnt kill myself in the polo tbh, that thing was so bad in the wet.
As for motorways it was happy enough to cruise at 70-80ish..just couldn't overtake anything without the jag man in the outside lane choking on his cigar when a 50hp polo goes for broke lol It also used to hit the limiter in 5th @105 haha which was interesting.

I'm still too scared to click the 'GIMP' link

I have just got to 105 in mine, but then, I usually run out of road, a car pulls out, or I'm too scared to go further.. 105 @4800rpm-ish... 105 in a 1litre polo is awesome!!
I get D:censored:heads going mad at me when I overtake 2 trucks at a time.. 1 time, I was coming down the M62, and a chav in a Saxo, which was screaming its nuts off, give me the :w4nk: sign because I overtook two trucks, where one was overtaking the other.. I was like.. "Should I chase him guys?"

 I clicked the link, but I cant download anything, Internet Explorer cant open such and such a webpage.. Figures!!

So, Jamoy, what car do you have? I take it you have an ibiza, but which one mate?

loads of revs left! my friend had a 1.4 mk4 golf as a first car years ago, managed to get that thing to nudge 120! lol yeah i have to say bouncing off the limiter in 5th was quite cool, even if it was just walking pace for a normal car lol
haha gotta love low powered cars.

I have the mk5 SC sport. Just the 1.4 16v, which goes all right in all honesty.
