They only provide a 20mm drop, but I don't want to mess with the ride too much. From other pics I've seen on the forum 20mm looks about perfect.

Not in yet - but maybe this weekend, cos I'm off work Monday :)

Its done! :)

Here's a quick before pic when it had the 16s:

Doesn't look a lot lower, but I guess they still need some time to bed in and 20mm was never gonna be a big drop anyway.

But I'm well pleased with them. Don't really like cars that are too low, and with the miles I'd doing I need it to be comfortable and go over speed bumps with ease!

And to finish it all off some pretty good MPG on a 100mile trip :D

Need to get tyres soon, so will be downsizing to 215/40 instead of the current 225/45's this will bring the overall wheel diameter back to the same as it was with the 16s which will be good cos the speedo is way out at the moment. And the lower profile will probably look better.

The other plans are to get my sideskirts painted and fitted, and get the wheels refurbed - thinking anthracite like the photoshop a few pages back, but not 100% sure! Opinions welcome!

Thanks Jordan and Char!

I'm hoping to get the sideskirts sorted out in the next couple of weeks. Might also enquire about colour coding the bottom of the rear bumper, so it ties in better with the sideskirts. Otherwise the middle of the car will look way lower than the front and rear.

Also need to get some new tyres and get the tracking/alignment done now that it's lowered. And a wheel refurb will be on the cards soon too, still not sure on colour for the wheels though?

Wheels are getting dropped off at the weekend for a refurb. So I'm rolling on the 16's again :(

Stuck on colours though. Torn between Shadown Chrome or Anthractie.
Here are some pics of the above colours that the guy has previously done.

I'm leaning towards the Shadow Chrome... opinions?

The Jury have spoken. Shadon Chrome it is.

Dropping them off tomorrow for the refurb.
Need to get 4 new tyres for them as well
3 are probably past the bare minimum and 1 is a cheap tyre.

I'm thinking Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta - seem to have good reviews for wet and dry grip.
Anyone got any other suggestions around the same price?

Who's doing them for you Mark? As for tyres, I'm currently running Pirelli P7's on mine and they're pretty grippy. I'm bad for just chucking it into corners now she's been dropped and they don't budge :D

Michael (Polished Alloys) - read good things on RMS and he's very cheap!!!

My 16's were Pirelli P7s and I thought they were ok - not cheap though and pretty noisy.

Not that I wan't cheap tyres, I just want to get the best value for money.

Yeah I read a few bad things about wait times. Thankfully I'm not in a hurry for them, but it would be nice to have them in a week or so and not months!

Time will tell lol.

Will PM you my number now.
