What engine do you have?

My cover is tiny compared to that!
Only your cover? its only a 1.4 nothing fancy

It says what engine he has on the cover lol. 1.4
:lol::lol:
Coming along! Lowering is a necessity for Ibiza's across the range. I always say that they are great cars but their only downfall is the way they ride so high as standard. Get it dropped a bit and it'll make all the difference.

Thats still on the list, wont be getting round to doing that for a while.

is it ok to drive with the engine cover off?

The engine cover is completed. Great 1st time job (bits of paint missing, not enough layers, rubbish attempt)

ITS NOT EVEN FLORESCENT!!!

I would take that with the can to where you.bought it And say its poo and demand a refund or.change haha

wrapping the hood is the only way I can think of getting it black unless you mask the rest of the car!!!

lol wrapping the hood would be less of a pain than spraying it. 1. because spraypaint runs out 2. drip marks 3. might not be as it looks on the can = FAIL.

wrapping is the better way, you can also remove the wrapping at a later date. :)

You keep saying hood, aren't you referring to the the hood above the speed dials?

Adam I think, you think, he means wrapping the engine cover? Which I dont think is the case.

but the wrapping is likely to shrink, ripple and crease due to the heat underneath the engine

If thats the engine cover. then yea spray it!

and when i say hood i was actually thinking of bonnet. :) but speedo hood, would look lush if it was the same colour as the engine cover, and same with the interior of the car. :)

**UPDATE**
Would love to get these things done, the only issue i have is my partner (not a car type of person) so i might not be able too do anything too the car, unless i had more money income. he would be like :stick: if i did anything else. We are planning to move into a property by july.

Spraying stuff is quite.cheap and its a good way to make your car unique.
I moved into my first house 4 months ago and have only just been able to afford some springs for her. But been spraying stuff on the inside so its always looking better :)

Are you paying for the car or both of you?

Otherwise you can do what you like as long as its sensible. I do what I like to mine, my boyfriend doesnt drive so he can't say anything otherwise he won't be going anywhere.
