Remove the wipers, if they are tight pour hot water over the spindles something magical happens and they are able to be removed easier.
Then lift of the scuttle panel, also remove the rubber.

When removing the doors I know it's advisable to have spare door clips because they tend to break, anything similar for the scuttle panel?

its a seal that presses into a groove at the bottom of the windscreen. should just pull out. Make sure its pressed firmly back in all the way along when putting it back on though.

sorted, i think i have found my leak, underneath the scuttle panel near the bonnet release there is a huge black plastic piece that is sealed with a foam, this foam lifts slightly and so I hope and wish that this is where my leak is from, I have sealed this and got my fingers crossed

its all perfectly clean , drain holes are clear , i hope it was this foam seal around the plastic covering the wires into the car ,, ( not sure of the name of it )

sounds good alot of the time the drain holes block and water rises and pours in through the pollen filter and around the bottom of the pollen filter housing.

Or the pollen filter surround hasnt been fitted correctly. Water pisses in if this is the case. Have you had the car serviced or screen changed recently?
