This is the second pre-facelift to get the same wheels as me!!lol ....looking very nice tho mate...i just bought some brand new centre caps for mine as they were ruined..... nearly £15 each from audi dealers tho!!
have you lowered it yet?? got any pics?? ive lowered mine 50mm ... im thinking maybe i shoulda gone for 18's to fill the arches better tho!?!

but im weary of losing ride comfort!
im not expecting delivery till end of next week so i wony have pics for another coup-le of weeks i wouldnt have thought.

Here we are again another week gone.
Had alot of fun... changed my suspension to kw shocks and springs 40mm absolute nightmare to fit. took nearly two days as drivers side was stuck right in there!
also finaly managed to get the roof in black.
Myself and ABM found a nice part of taunton!
so in short:
Lowered 40mm

Also considering a respray. many panels need a lick of paint and i fancy a change to white.

I've got pretty bad fading as well, and if i ever get round to a respray, white would definately be one of the colours i'd consider. The missus surprised me the other day when we saw a new focus rs, and said she liked the green as well!!!
I think colour coding makes a massive difference to the looks of the pre fl cupra.....much cleaner.

Some nice photos there Nick I wonder who took them... and yes, that suspension swap was a major ball ache.
I'll get round to doing the colour change properly later hopefully with the rub strips done and everything else.

With the -40mm kit I guess you're getting a approx 25mm drop?

i think on standard leon cupra the drop is 40mm i think its the leon cupra R that has less drop as they are lower to start with... i could be wrong.
what i am sure of is the ride is so different you cant understand how awful the standard shocks are until you try these!
much less body roll and a very forgiving ride where pot holes and speed bumbs are concerned!
much better motorway wise, stabillity is awesome!
