Morning all,

I thought I would start a little diary about my Leon.

To start I got the car in January this year after needing something economical but still fun to drive and with some toys. I had an Alfa Giulietta before this and didn't want another of the same car as I'd had a different Giulietta before that one. Having never had anything from the VAG group I hadn't really considered them before but a red Leon caught my eye whilst browsing auto trader one day. So off I went to have a view and a test drive and I rather liked it but it didn't have the tech pack which was a let down. Whilst considering that car another popped up at my local dealers with the tech pack and after a look and drive a deal was done.

This is how she looked just after I got it.

First off the brakes were painted Red.

Then I went for the black bumper details.

In Progress

Done

At this point I fitted a piper cross air filter but no pictures as I got grumpy when the bolt made a bid for freedom onto the undertray :headhunt:

Also got a few VCDS changes added.

Mirrors fold on lock
Alarm chirps
The Seat drive profile light turned off so it's red in all modes
Needle Sweep

I had been on the lookout for the performance alloys but hadn't found a set then a set of R32 Reps came up locally.

Trial Fit

After new tyres and fitted

Debadged

And finally a couple nice photos

Not sure what I'm going to do next but there's normally something.

Thanks for reading.

I have recently bought a Seat Leon 2.0 tdi sport and I think it's the best car I've ever owned.

I have to agree the Leon is a brilliant car. I've had five Mk1 Cupra, Mk1 SE tdi, Mk2 FR 170, Mk3 FR 150, and just bought a new Mk3 FR 184 DSG.

Some nice subtle tweaks there that really ought have been standard when new. Did you paint the bumper bits or plastidip?
