I cant see it being a leak, if you floor it from low revs you gets a fluctuation in boost, if you gradually depress the trottle to the same position most the time its fine and will hold the correct boost level - which makes me think its not a leak as how could it hold the correct level where it normally bounced - so its basically a problem when initial high boost is requested.

Also when full throttle from higher revs its seems to be ok most the time.

Everyone agree?

 now i feel like a prat i bought a 225 tt tb second hand so i should of known havent fitted it but may get round to it, b4 i do ill clean it n get it polished. i take it wiv all this fiddlein n un pluggin things people r leave the ignition on for bout a min while it aligns the tb, noticable by chime n if u lean in the engine bay n listen u can hear it movin.

i read a thread by robdon n run it by him n he thinks they are the same n tobe honest lookin at it it looks the same as well.
i think u get that impression as its on the other side due to the twin intercooler system, if it makes no difference least i got a spare incase anything happens

Please would you pack the text speak in! This forum prefers proper words!

So, this fluttering boost - any noise associated with it? Like when the traction cuts in and you get a "screech" from somewhere (wastegate?) or is it just totally silent?

I've never had this, I can sometimes feel a slight surging when it's cold, and sometimes the boost doesn't come back in if you feather the throttle on a bend.

Too lazy to read the rules as well then? Most people on here find it very difficult to read and understand text speak - you say you're too lazy to type correctly? To me it seems arrogant to make us have to struggle to read txt spk posts in order to help you.

Don't take it to heart, just don't do it again :D

most people can't understand text speak! obviously still a lot of cave men around still as i've got aunts that can text quicker than me and use more text lingo than me!
anyway thats not why we are on here.
it seems to me that my problem is happening under different circumstances
i.e i only get a cut back on part throttle when accelerating gently, and happens as i go past th 2000rpm mark and then its know and then.
others seem to get the flutter or cut on full throttle further up the rev range

This will give you an idea .. 4th gear run

But like I said gradually increasing boost it will hold so makes me thing a leak is not the problem.

Normally you can sometimes hear a leak but I can't seem to tell.

Are those requested vs actual?

Edit: Image filename gives a clue.

Edit: So, requested takes a dive as well

No sound here, ive had radio off and windows up and down (you can sometimes here engine noise better with them up).
Im convinced it must be an electrical valve or similar as if it was mechanical it would happen all the time under the same circumstances but this seems to be very erratic.
Has anyone whose had this issue been stock or very similar to stock? As I can’t figure out if it’s a “mod issues” or a standard seat part playing up

So, first graph, blue is requested, pink actual? So, the flutter is the bouncing you can see on the pink line? And it only does it when cold?

What settings are you running? What's the peak requested in that log?

Can I make a quick suggestion and say that it could be the turbo intake hose from the airfilter collapsing under huge load (i.e full throttle in 6th @1500rpm). This is a known fault with video footage to show the hose collapsing, then recovering, then collapsing again, which sounds V.much like the power fluctuations that ure all suffering?
Just thought a new avenue could give food for thought.
