BONUS i think i may have found the location of the N249 for LC's

N249.jpg

under the second removable engine cover, by the dipstick under a metal cover.

found in another thread which initially was on vortex, ive edited the picture so you can see where it is, im guessing this is the same as an LC as the N249 on an LCR is on top of the block, where like the golf GTi's and LC's it is not,

IM HOPING

is yours the removal of the N249 or just t-piece into the FPR?.Ill see what happens with this new "N249" 2moz as it apparantly arrives in the stealers 2moz,

gotta fit some plugs and coilpacks to my mates Golf GTi turbo and then gonna do mine so ill see what happens as the hesitation is worse now i have this "N249 mechanical malfunction" !!!!

well....no....in a way, wrong problem, T piece on the DV and boost guage was wrong so it was giving me an error, changed the N249 any way and so far so good touch wood

will obviously get back if i find it stuttering, before it even decided to do it in 3rd gear which was different cos ive never had that. still at abuot 2500rpm

anyways it seems ok, no chatter in the DV

I think those who have just see the problem more evident when running more boost.

So the LC and LCR seems to ge effected by this problem... TB cleaning I doubt would make a difference.

I have checked all pipes that I can see and they all seem to be ok, disconnecting the N249 doesnt seem to make a difference.

N75 cured this previously but this time its something else ... million dollar question is what !!!???!?????!!!!

£20 for the winner...

it certainly is strange as my problem seemed to go away when changin n75 but has come back just after two weeks!
like i said b4 i been told by seat there is a chance its the waste gate but now i spoken to the workshop foreman it seems to be a leak of some sort, but
ive looked in the easy places and can find no splits or lose pipes.

i read a thread by robdon n run it by him n he thinks they are the same n tobe honest lookin at it it looks the same as well.
i think u get that impression as its on the other side due to the twin intercooler system, if it makes no difference least i got a spare incase anything happens

N75's
N249's
ECU's
Maps
Turbos
Pipes
Down pipes

Is there anything left on the car bar the fuel pumps etc?
