anyone had any experience of this company?

im after a set of cheap springs for my leon cupra but want to uprate the shocks also, i know this is very cheap, very cheap but im after a quick fix as i have 18s on now and needs lowering,

could i just go down the springs only route?

got 70k on the clock on standard dampers, so realistically these would be ready for replacement anyway?

maybe i should just go for it and be the guinea pig on this a real set of budget springs

total 120 incl vat?????

i know whats coming, you get what you pay for etc but not really in a postion to spend wads on weitecs, konis etc

TUV approved which is always something. 2 year guarantee probably not worth anything at all. I personally would be wary of putting something so cheap on my car, but thats just me. If they work they work :).

Lowering springs will knacker worn shocks quickly... why do the job twice?

Cheap lowering springs are a false economy too...

Best bet is to simply wait until you have the money to buy decent kit imho.

Best quality springs and shocks?

Weitec is the cheapest after our budget kits but you you click the link in my post above it takes you to all the springs and shcoks kits for the Leon 1M.

so is that a good thing or a bad thing mate, remember im after budget, not for track day or hammering round corners, just a decent drop and ride comfort.

I would say go for the Weitec and if you can't be bothered to save up then go for the JOM, but i would say Weitec would be worth the wait.

James, remember to budget for new top mount bushes and bearings, probably about £70.
These are a must on a with your sort of miles if you haven't done these already

I would rather use no springs than use jamex.

They increased my ride height on my last car, and there are numerous cases of doing the same on others astra's.

I used AVO springs in the end they did exactly what they were supposed to do :)

My car allegedly had new shocks fitted just before I got it and visually sits level. I have noticed that some spring kits list different drops front and rear i.e. 50/30 will this not make the car look like a 70's hot rod I was looking at getting the weitec -30 all round springs will my car sit level on this set up

Any advice appreciated.
