Just had to remove my rear bumper on my Cupra R.

Only difference i could find was on the Cupra R that there were 3 x 10mm Raghead bolts in the boot are and not 2 as on my mates Leon Cupra only had to take it off as i lost one of my plate lights

I have created a page on my personal website purely for the removal of the mk1 Cupra front and rear bumpers, and the fitting of Cupra R bumpers
There are plenty of detailed pictures and a parts lists for the bits necessary for fitting the new bumpers

It also contains the steps for fitting a Forge Front Mounted Intercooler

Hope this helps, please leave comments at the bottom of the page, or if you have a query :D

few years later but could be helpfull with others seeing this, those torx bolts behind the washer jet covers (round covers in corners) are a PITA to remove, i've damaged mine a bit to try to poke them out.

I also removed those 3 tabs on each side of the bumper before reinstall because i tried so hard but couldn't get it back in the "rails". (are these the "guide profiles?"). Seems kinda a design flaw to me
