...Was there any suggestios of disabling the ESP etc in the mag?
Alas, no. It was one of those brief articles, in back of the mag, that respond to readers' queries, such as 'What does an LSD do?'.

Perhaps it's worth consulting Wavetrack? In hindsight, I'd assume that the Wavetrack ATB must 'talk' to an LCR's OE ESP, cos doesn't the LCR have a TC-based faux LSD (ie the traction-control brakes the inside driven-wheel if it starts to spin during corner exit), otherwise there'll be all sorts of system-conflict between the Wave' ATB & the OE TC-based 'LSD'? Surely Wavetrack is aware of the potential conflict & consequently has loads of info/data/solutions..?

However, if Wavetrack is unable to advise, then try asking a friendly race team or individual that's raced an LCR. Try AMD Essex, it races SEATs (PM 'Mr Carbonfibre', he's bound to know who to speak with!). Or maybe 'Badger brake fella' might know - doesn't he race a SEAT Leon or an Ibiza?

Pretty sure that disabling ESPs will be a common, & simple, part of track prep for race teams etc.

As 'showroom-spec' did they have LSDs or the like?

I've no idea what was actually 'under the skin' of the Cupra series' LCRs.

But even in a race series for 'showroom spec'/Group N-type cars, the teams & drivers often prefer not to have an ESP interfering with a pro's driving-style. For example, the LCR's ESP counteracts power-on left-foot braking.

Therefore, perhaps the ESP might have been deactivated in the Cupra series?

So it might be useful for Willie to know if the Cupra series' LCRs ran with the OE ESP deactivated or did all entrants have a series-bespoke ECU?

So gone for full set with drivers side slider:drive1:

£319 + £5 shipping + VAT

***************I know not to work with glass when your pissed off and short of temper, lol

Thankfully its 10 degrees and sunny today.
Was good to drive car too, if a little drafty, lol

Almost know how you feel, I slipped while removing the rear wiper mech to repair it and nearly put my ratchet through the rear window at the weekend. Heart was in my mouth for a few seconds.

Just spotted these windows, might be worth investigating, unless you've already ordered.

http://www.plastics4performance.com...lycarbonate-windows/LEON-MK1/c-1-288-477-481/

Have been ordered.
A bit before I had expected to be buying these but not going to buy a new window just to replace it soon.

Even though there isn't a picture they do actually exist.

Bit of a bugger Willie but gets the ball rolling I suppose! Defiantly worth it for perspex windows, and it makes it look like a proper track car! Just get the stickers and drill out n' you'll be sorted!

Column titles are stacked up to the left on the page. If you look at them in order, it makes sense. :)
Now I see it, didn't come up before.
no choices for sliders which is a bit strange.
I did consider getting without sliders and drilling myself but save a feck up and get someone else to do this one.
I know all about the tape it up and drill with sharp hole saw but job done anyway

I have the brochure for the race spec Leon's and there nothing like the road going Leon's. Massive brakes, different shocks springs, wish bones rear suspension set up.................EVERYTHING
