Sportrider - i have the ebay exhaust/green panal/CupraFMIC and mine does it loud, don't have a de cat yet either

Sportriders is only a PD100 though so a smaller turbo. Not sure if that makes a difference. Must admit I've not heard of a PD100 or less making this noise. Only PD130>.


Update - my Millers XFE-PD oil has arrived today! Just hope my service parts arrive tomorrow so I can do the oil change, oil filter/fuel filter/pollen filter change this weekend! Cambelt was done on Tuesday!

My 110, well my old turbo which was the same turbo as sportrider made the loud whoosh sound and I still get it with my bigger turbo

You think that could be the reason? Maybe it is, maybe the kkk function different to the garrett? Anyone know? My garrett does it, strugers1 garrett does it, but my mates 52 plate 130 tdi Ibiza has same straight through exhaust as me and his doesn't do it, maybe that's the answer

The Ibiza Cupra TDI from a girlfriend of mine also doesnt do it.

The pffffeeeeeeewww sound comes from the vnt mechanism.

If you change boost maapings, pre control mappings of VNT you will hear it in a differing "pffffeeeeww" sound*g* all depend of how the actuator is working.

The Ibiza Cupra tdi comes with the same turbo from the pd150 lump (GT1749VB) if I remember correctly, so with a cat back mufflerectomy, it should do it, or remove the cat aswell lol. It's weird cause first exhuast I got on my leon, I got a cat back mufflerectomy and it didn't do it, then I got a full milltek, decat downpipe with non resonated cat back and it whooshed, not loud but you could just about hear it, then I got the back box removed so fully straight through and the whoosh is so much louder, it's really loud

My KKK doesnt do it but then neither did the Garrett when I was "hybrid." Seems the Garretts are known for it though!

Not much of a mod - but an update!

Gave my car a service this weekend. Cam belt was done by a garage, I did the oil change and new filter, changed the fuel filter and pollen filter.

And it's like a whole new car! ! It seems a heck of a lot quicker now!!! And a lot more responsive, when you put your foot on the pedal, it's there straight away.

Got Millers XFE-PD in now! Probably much better than the stuff Seat dealers use! The pollen filter was pretty black too! So the car is like brand new I suppose!
