What do you reckon to de-wipering?
Does look good mate but its something I would'nt do as I use mine quikte alot (plus I dont wash the car as much as I should
and would have to wash it even more without a rear wiper).But like I said, it does look good.

I NEVER use the rear wiper. I'd rather have a rear window that's thick in sh1t than use the washer and get dribble marks down the boot!
I just didnt like it, looked a bit like the Fiesta Classics with just a grommet in....

i never use the wiper on myn so its gonna come off soon lol, i completley agree about using the washer, it makes more mess.
do it leave it off for a week and see if you get used to it, if you dont like it put it back on and youve lost nothing. i think it looks good but its your car.

Hmmmmmmmm - just gotta try getting the boot trim off again without breaking it! NOT easy!
lol, havent even attempted it with myn yet, what tools you need to do it and what size grommit??
20mm torx screwdriver (i think), 13mm socket and 10mm socket. And a tiny flat headed screwdriver to undo the electric clip to the wiper motor.
25mm rubber grommet.
kewl sounds like a job for tomorrow, how did you stop the pipe leaking cable tie it back on itself???

You could do that, or just not use the rear wash. OR put the end of a ballpoint pen up the pipe. You know the other end to the nib end?
will have to see if i got half hour to spare tomorrow or can be bothered lol, when you get your car done at p-torque
lol, i looked into it through will, it not doing it, its trying to insure the car after, i had a few quotes i cant justify paying over a grand on insurance again, next year being 21 will be the time for me, gives me chance to sort evreything else out as well, ie:- brakes suspension.
We'll talk about that through PM if needs be!

Ash, you need calipers pads disks and carriers to go 312mm. The standard calipers dont match the 312 carriers.
I believe there are some 312mm S3 calipers in the for sale section at the moment.
May be worth a look.
As for the De-wiper. It looks ace. Perhaps try and paint the gromet a similar colour to the glass area it plugs into?

Might do this today, where can i get the grommet from, 25mm you said yea? Whats all this fuss about the boot trim, is it quite difficult to take off?
It's hard to tell from the pics if it looks good, perhaps if you have another from further away, i'd be able to tell? Weathers starting to get better now aswell
