Thought I should start a little project thread for my 2003 Leon Cupra
The car was a friends whom has owned it for over 9 years and as his mechanic I've been through 90% of it! When he came to selling up it fell perfectly with me needing a 2nd car!
Spec so far:
Over last 9 odd years it's anal level servicing including a new Genuine VAG turbo, manilfold and complete cylinder head rebuild!
Plans for the 1st part of 2015 are:
Plus some abuse on some track days!
Then saving for:
And a trip to Badger for a map!
I'm hoping for 280bhp ish so may just find a knocked up Cupra R, S3 or TT 225 to break up as a cheaper option?!

- Cupra R Front Bumper, center opened up for flow to intercooler
- Compomotive MO6 18" Gloss Black
- KW Street Sports struts and springs
- Fully poly bushed all round
- Eibach Anti Roll bars front and rear
- Cupra R Brembos, braided lines with Badger 5 2 piece discs, ds2500 pads
- Rear EBC Ultimax black discs, EBC Red Stuff pads
- Forge Front mount intercooler
- Forge TIP
- Forge 007 DV
- Green Cotton cone filter
- Oil catch tank
- 3" downpipe with sports cat, custom cat back solo silencer
- Battery relocated to spare wheel well
- TT 225 Clutch kit
- Forge Short Shift Linkage
- S3 front upper and lower braces
- Rear brace
- Aircon delete
- Cobra Imola Pro bucket seats + CG lock
- Custom map by Jabbasport and producing 237bhp and 299lbs ft torque

- Refurbed pair of TT hubs
- TT Lower arms with caster correct bushes and poly fronts
- Caliper refurb all round as looking a bit tired
- Polish the intercooler up a little
- Tidy up the engine bay a little
Plus some abuse on some track days!
Then saving for:
- BBT K300 or best hybrid a the time of purchase
- IE rods and ACL bearings, No point in the turbo if I have to limit the torque!!
- Ported Manifold
- Upgraded injectors and maf housing
- 80mm Tip, if they do one for the ko3s??
And a trip to Badger for a map!
