she looks damn good :D not that i'm biased of course ;)

lowering them makes such a difference even if it has fubar'd my rubber on all the inner edges whereas the rest of the tyre is still ok but hey they've been on nearly 2years!

really need to get kiwi back up to scratch somehow,mk2's are the nuts!

I've had a curious brake problem for quite a while, which I've mentioned before. After about 30-40 mins of driving, I'd suddenly lose most of the brake pedal. They'd work, but an inch off the floor. This would then be intermittent for the rest of the journey.

We decided it was a sticking piston in a rear caliper where the heat generated was causing the fluid to boil.

I spotted a new Lucas caliper for just over £30 on ebay and thought it might be worth a gamble. It looked identical to oem, except for the handbrake mechanism which is side-mounted, rather than end-mounted.

I got round to fitting it today. Perfect! I took a pic of the Lucas part no for future reference.

Good to meet you too! Yor car looked great!

IT???? you can't call her it,no wonder she's temperamental!! ;) and no comments about of course she is she's female! :D

Whooops! Actually and unusually, Claire, both my cupras are boys. I think the Bammer is female. I suspect my Leon is gay..........

I don't think we properly introduced each other but at least now I know face and car.

Yes apologies I didn't have the chance to say hello. Your car looked really good!
