Sounds like a job for you vrsy your good at stuff like that I've been looking for some performance plugs to replace mine just for peace of mind :) I'm going to ring the dealer back tomorrow and see if they have got any oe but would ideally like some performance plugs :D but being a new car there isn't a lot of stuff specifically for our cars

This is why I will set the map to stock output, remove the REVO stickers  and let them sort the ECU update and if I am lucky they may chuck in the plugs if there is an error stored. I will be doing servicing at work so not too worried about after this update.

why take it to a main dealer for the service, unless you wan't the new update ?

Yeh its just to keep the records all in check with the new update or else i wouldent be that botherd. And it gives me something to do on my 18 days off i seem to waste every month :p

It might be worth trying a set of good performance spark plugs a couple steps colder than OEM.

Iridium plugs are pretty good.

Although these are good spark plugs, i wouldnt recommend them for our cars, personal opinion is NGK Platinum, and also bare in mind guys that tuned cars should replace spark plugs every 10.000kms max.

I wouldn't mind some new plugs myself. I'll let someone test drive them first :D
I have knocked my car back to mode B and MPG is back up around 47 on the way in. Also gave the car a couple of boots under similar circumstances as when it last did it with no engine flashes.
I think there is a good chance I might have got a slightly lower grade v-power and the 100Ron mode was just asking too much.

I am done with V-Power tbh mate. the still wont give me a V-Power club card even though I have been using the stuff for a year now, also seems to be good feedback on the TESCO one and it's cheaper so I may trial that for a while. Still 100RON hehehehehehehhe

Thought it was 99ron?
My club card came through after 3 months and usually get £10 or so off every quarter.
I've also read reports of water and other contaminants in tesco fuel. Shell is cheapest round our way coz were by the refinery.

Revo didn't seem to like the tesco momentum as a fuel choice when talking to them on the open day, due to it being additive based iirc. Haven't put it in since!

I used tesco 99 for a couple tanks and the car didnt feel anywhere near as quick as it does with vpower. Probably all just mind games though lol

I use Momentum 99 since I owned the car and havent had any problems at all, altough V-Power is supposed to be the best available fuel in the uk.

personal preference but i wouldnt put any type of tesco/asda/sainsbury's fuel in any car, always stick with the big companies i.e shell, texaco, esso, bp. Don't trust the quality of fuel..

sure that would only be the full system as a cat back doesnt change the flow rate as the downpipe restricts this :s

sounds like the same as mine did, i got new plugs and it worked (was ages ago the ECU update wasnt out) ive had the ECU update since and it seems even smoother. im the worst person to comment on warrantys im not even revo stage 1 :p

Did you have to pay for the new plugs. Just had mine changed cost me £143 cus the cars done more than 6000 miles.

You played your face and paid £140 for something that is covered under warranty?

Thank god you didn't roll over & accept it

It's not covered under warranty, the plugs only have 6 months or 6000 miles warranty. Don't worry I ain't finished yet I would have phoned Seat customer care today but i didn't get the car back till late tonight.
