its addictive...
hope it works out for you... its good fun

mk2 will be cheaper to run on track fo sho! :D

It's something that has interested me for some time just have never really got round to it due to lack of money (Spending it all doing the LCR) and lack of time due to working on LCR and decorating my house, but as these 2 are now finished i need a new project :D

My LCR would never be able to compete in any track classes I don't think due to the stroker etc so buying a MK2 was the logical option. There are quite a few 'restrictions' in place for the series that they run which I need to get my head around like running standard discs etc.

Going to have a browse of ebay and ED38 for a MK2 later.

I hope it works out too, :) fingers crossed

Monsteeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr......that is all I can really say about this car. What a animal. Great car mate, thanks for the passenger ride. But seriously you need to sort those brakes ASAP, those bushes up ahead had a bit of a scare to say the least ;)

Went to AmD today for a RR organised by D.K. Was good to see everyone weather was VERY hot!!

Put the car on the dyno and it performed poorly but AmD tried to explain to me why it wasn't putting out the figures it should.

Ambient temps close to 60 degrees in the Dyno room, this can't help anything!

Their Dyno apparently doesn't have a 'load cell' in it and operates under open wheel or free wheel. I haven't got a clue what this means but this could account for why it put out lower numbers than expected. They said it happens occasionally and doesn't really have a reason, 1000hp skylines pulling the right figures but my car was roughly 70bhp and 70LB/FT down from when it was last at bills.

Final best run figures where:
402.8HP
329.7LB/FT

Oh well, it's still fookin rapid on the road!!!

Haha, brown pants moment.

2 piece disks are on my shopping list for sure. We where 4's up and a full tank = a lot of weight! Especially with your fat ass :)

My car will be off the road during the winter months I think, it's just to risky driving it in icy / snowy conditions so I'd rather just leave it in my garage for oct - mar sort of time.

Amd did say that load needs to be applied so its not Bill slagging the rollers it's just a fact if AmD said it about their own rollers...

Anyway, on the car as this is what the thread is about, it is an awesome beast this, really impressive!

Sounded the tits today, really screamed. Loudest Milltek ever?! You'll have to take me out next time and also once you've upgraded the brakes.

Cracking car :D
