Yea was always on my mind if it would blow up at the end of the day... Plus I do give it hell when it's on track!

I'm not going to be chasing figures if it's 215bhp I will be more than happy, I'm more after the reliability it will give the engine while I'm pushing it.

Who said it's finished off?? I want 2 piece discs when the brakes are worn and get the underneath all treated once it's in good condition.

Think I might try for another feature in a mag once the bottom end is done. See if Golf+ wants to do another one or see if the Seat hating mag of VW Performance would be interested.

Yeah I get what you mean, but you can now push out a few extra ponies too, as you were probably going "safe" so you do not blow it ;)

I need to do so many mods/buy so many for my next ring trip in June/July lol, stupidly expensive though lol.

Yeah lol, cars never finished really ;)

Need help to decide on what colour to have my rocker cover in, wrinkle paint red or black?

Anyone like to photoshop it for me?

I'm liking the red, only reason I want to change it is I'm having the bottom end done the end of this month so it just shows that the engine as moved on if you get that.

Mind you I do have two spare covers that I shot blasted clean in work Saturday night lol

Why not have a set of them painted up 'monday' to 'friday'. Like pants.

I also think that animal prints and fur are very underutilised on cars these days. How about panda skin?

Lol thanks Rob :D

My strut brace is now black, I forgot about that. My block is going black so I think red will do, if I don't like it I have a spare to spray up and the lime green one few bolts and it's swapped :)

Like Rob said one for each day

The Ibiza went on a road trip today to Saxon Motorsport to let Mark and his lads do what they are good at! This time I am having the bottom end done, basically it's always in the back of my mind that the bottom end may give up one day soon so I want the strength and reliability! And of course a lot bit more power and torque would be nice although it doesn't seem to need it :)

Here's a pic of the car on it's travel this morning

Some of you may notice this is a different trailer to my shuttle trailer I had, that is now sold as I have a lovely garage to store the snot in. And the trailer above is my new one, does come with a tyre rack but I removed the bar as I wasn't carrying any tyres.

Mark got the bottom end built up before he was ready for my car to come down so he won't need my car there for as long now and he took some photos of the build for me.... I'm pretty impressed!

The block as been slightly bored out to 2056cc, JE Pistons, Steel Rods and getting a Exedy Paddle clutch. Also new oil, water pumps, coolant tanks, etc...

And sadly it won't be here when you come over next week, it's booked in for mapping on the 9th and should be ready for me on the 10th
