It's that time of year again where Pedro comes out from under his sheet and out of hibernation.
I was amazed/mildly impressed to find that after checking all fluids and reconnecting the battery he fired straight back into life, before I took it out to get everything up to temperature and blow the cob webs off.
Tonight I went out with a friend to collect a few logs after I noticed a drop in boost; I'm certain last year I was peaking at 24-26 PSI, vs what looks more like 20-21 PSI now. On WOT I can hear and see the boost fluctuating between 20-22 PSI, but seemingly throttled by something.
Bearing in mind it's also a cold night (sub 3 Deg C) the CFs concern me.
All logs were collected starting in 4th, applying WOT from 2,000 - 6,000 RPM:
Fault codes were cleared before these runs, and a subsequent scan showed:
Code:
Control Module Part Number: 6K0 906 032 AA
Component and/or Version: 1.8L 20VT EU3 01 0002
Software Coding: 10500
Work Shop Code: WSC 12849
3 Faults Found:
17524 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Heating: B1 S1: Open Circuit
P1116 - 35-00 - -
16885 - Vehicle Speed Sensor: Implausible Signal
P0501 - 35-00 - -
16518 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor B1 S1: No Activity
P0134 - 35-00 - -
Lambda is "expected", I've had problems with this for quite a while...
Notice that requested boost only equates to around 21 PSI which is what I see, though looking back over my latest dyno plots and from memory of last year's track day I'm certain I was peaking at 24-26 PSI.
Anything further I should look at from these initial logs?
