i personally think the laguna one is strangling it and the pipework isnt doing much for it either, lots of bends and different sized pipes

my pipework is 2.5" from turbo to throttlebody, all mandrel bent alloy with minimal bends, an exhaust place is probably your best bet for that, or i can speak to my guy and get a price in stainless for you? (no money for me admins btw, just helping him out, he can pay him and pick it up, or il go with him)

Core wise similar to mine (or even bigger) would be good, as long as it doesnt cause lag or strangle the flow or fail to cool your onto a winner (ebay ones do actually cool very well just made cheaply)

just remember when thinking about all this, main things are you want is to flow well and you want it to cool, the cooler the better ovbiously

EDIT: remember, bigger isnt always better

I ended up buying the whole setup that was mentioned in the thread off Dave anyway mate so never got it copied.
Speak to Mr_D see if he can make it up for you, just direct him to this thread so he knows what hes looking at

I've just emailed Forge asking if they are able to put together a fully bespoke kit - intercooler and alloy piping routed down the side of the engine, like the TTs - much like Dave Smith's setup.

sorry for the late reply's guys, been a bit busy recently

i can get the pipework no problem, but i was only kinda helping chris out as i know him, since he now owns my old pipework and cooler i didnt think i needed to get more made up

if im getting a big batch made up i think admin need to approve me doing it, as im no sponsor and none of this is in the for sale section, and im not using this site for my own gains

admin -- is this ok as a one off for these peeps? or is it a no go

hey guys anymore news on this? ive just fitted the ebay uni intercooler and dont like the way the left hand side pipe runs under engine so close to road, so i wouldnt mind getting in on this batch asap if thats possible. If not please point me in the right direction to get it done quick cos the cars off the road atm cos the pipe is so low, got a temporary fix in mind that im gona do on weekend but would like it done properly.

I live in swansea south wales and am having trouble finding someone who will do it?
