Digital Kph display.

Nope sorry, your stuck with it. By law all cars sold within the EU must have a speedo that reads in Mph and Kph. I suppose SEAT thought rather than block the speedo face up with an extra set of numbers they would do it that way instead. Quite a neat idea though! :)

to be honest it will probably get dropped and replaced with cheaper numbers on dials later but then maybe they know something we don't ? ;)

Citroen's with digital dash (C2's) can be changed in the display menu's.
Scares peeps shitless if you drive around in Kph............:scary:

I had a test drive in an Ibiza earlier today and I have to say this feature really put me off. What on earth is the point of a constantly changing digital display in the middle of the dashboard conveying information that is of no use to me whatsoever and will just serve to distract me?

Surely having km/h shown as subsidiary units on the speedo would be preferable (and probably cheaper too).

If I had to drive one I'd probably end up putting gaffer tape over it.

At least in my 207 all the units on the trip computer can be changed from metric to Imperial.

I have done a search before and there are companies that can change it for you if say for example you are relocating to europe and they can also change the dials to km/h so you could do what you wanted I guess.

It's never botherd me - if anything I'd find the gear change indicator more distracting, and equally as useless.

I do actually rely on the Km/h readout quite a lot as I work in Dublin and speed limits are in Km/h in the Republic of Ireland, and I also like how the main speedo is less cluttered looking having just mph on it.

OK, might have been a bit of an overreaction there

Still seems a bit silly when you could have subsidiary units on the speedo, but in practice not remotely a show-stopper.
