Why when the original LED's are flush mounted have you then mounted them on there side when installing the new ones?

Hey dude... thanks for the link to this thread... don't suppose you've got any free time to help me with this have you? I'm only in Norwich and could come to you if that would help. :) No pressure, would be handy to have someone who's done this already on hand. :)

Hey. I just got white LEDs for mine. Just did the two main clocks but the white LEDs are not really bright. Does anyone know the reason and solution to that? I thought of just installing more LEDs but would that work?

Cheers

Hey guys could anyone help! Does anyone know if these leds work like Christmas lights take one out and the others don't work as I've replaced these two, disconnected the other ones ready for being replaced but when I tested them there's no voltage??

The original full set

Hi mate. I recently replaced mine. Had the same problem a few times with the radio. They are connected to each other in some way. Make sure none of the solder is touching from positive and negative. I just kept replacing until they worked. Best to remove all old solder before putting any new solder on

Yeah I'm completely lost now, I think my soldering iron is burning the leds out when connecting them
