Push fairly hard on the side of the light - like if you stand so you are facing the rear quarter panel - press on the edge of the light and pull. It should come out then. :) They are a pain!

oh yeah. done. easy. :) id recommend using a wide flatblade screwdriver wrapped in tissue, on the outside edge of the lights, all it takes is 5mm worth of prising at the right place

I did that and now i'll be £50 lighter as the lens broke at the point you said. I had a wide flat blade wrapped in a microfibre cloth and it still broke.

Be careful with screwdrivers.

:( I got the dealer to change my bulb.Halfords wouldn' touch it,it came up on his screen 'do not attempt to fit, danger of damage to light cluster, refer to dealer'.I'm a bit useless with practical things,so i did.

That's all good for pulling out the 'outer' lens clusters. :)

But any tips on removing the INNER clusters, that fit to the tailgate? :)
I located a screw quite deep in the unit, removed this, however there must be more screws somewhere.

All feedback appreciated! ;)

That's EASY! Take the covers off the inside of the boot - remove 4 posidrive screws and lights come out. Piece of pi55. :D

Remove the wires and bulb holders.

You need a limescale bathroom cleaner and water. Place it inside and shake to death. This should free up the crap and rinse out. Ensure you dry them fully before you put them back on.

Used one of those hook pull tools designed for laying laminate flooring to remove mine.
A wider contact point than a screwdriver.

Mine both came out really easy after taking the screws out, I guess the previous owner had them out not long before I bought my car.
