ok just a little update folks....car was remapped today at 10am by angel tuning by paul.
firstly i must say the service was brilliant, paul was a very informative guy and good for a bit of banter aswell! which made the whole experience more enjoyable imo....anywho, back to the remap lol
after having it done, my face has never been stretched so much from smiling!!! the car pulls like nothing ive ever been in before! 0-60 time has been slashed by 2 seconds!! and he said my car was running between 140-150 hp but imo its the torque that matters and must be the reason for it pulling all the way through to around 4.5k revs! have to recommend anyone who is thinking of remapping their 110 leon to do it is its the best 200quid you'll ever spend!!

ok guys, small update.
was driving to merchant city on saturday night when the car started to lose power, started feeling very jurky, then it happened.....plooms of white smoke...and i mean plooms of the stuff!
got to merchant city, pulled the car over to find the exhaust dripping of oil...5 litres of oil from the engine straight out into the intake etc etc....so eventually the AA arrived and told me the turbo seal or something came lose and got sucked into the intake...long story short its now at honda phoenix in linwood getting a new turbo and all for this tidy some of 700quid incl. fitting, which isnt too bad for a brand new turbo? so i get it back on tuesday and im looking forward to getting it back to see if theres a difference with the new turbo!

yeh i know dude, holiday with the girl has kind of crept into top priority spot at the moment....but yeah i phoned that company in irvine today, the guy said id be cheaper getting it sprayed than getting it vinyled so i called a coachworks in killie.....quoted 240 quid for the roof and spoiler sprayed gloss black...thought to myself that it was a bit steep so i phoned a guy that sprayed my dads prelude and he offered to do it for 120 so im considering it!

Really? Well I was 100 for my roof and I got quoted 100 for spraying at another place but would rather be able to take it off if need be. See to be honest, I'd be very tempted to give it a go myself if it needed done. If it doesn't work out you've only wasted about £20.

yeh but remember my roofs slightly bigger than yours so i think thats the 20 quid in difference, yehh i was wanting the vinyl incase i wanted to remove it but the guy said it will only keep for like 3/4 years so i was like nahhh **** it.... plus think it would look better sprayed...but we'll wait and see, i get my car back tomorow with the new turbo fitted etc etc
got the car back on friday with new turbo fitted, oil filter changed and oil changed... turbo was a reconditioned unit with about 15k on it....let the car warm up yesterday for 20 mins or so and went down a wee back road to stretch the turbos legs a bit....the turbo whistle coming off it is alot better than my old 115k turbo, plus it pulls alotttt better aswell ha. was pretty chuffed with it if im honest! so all is well....for now!
small update, im looking at upgrading the intake in my leon.
was originally looking at using the pd160 intake but have been told it wont fit, so now im looking at using the golf r32 air intake, which has a better chance of fitting with little modding needed! anyone got any advice or pointers in reference to my intake?

ive been waiting to get it done for ages and finally managed it on sunday....painted my calipers red and got my vinyls on them...also added a stubby c2 aerial and some aero window wipers! subtle changes all add up! will post up pictures tonight hopefully! To come: considering have my original tdi bumpers smoothed and sprayed completely silver as i dont see much point in paying through the nose for cupra bumpers and for the car to look like something its not, so sticking with my bumpers and upgrading them sounds the best idea?
