was looking through the mk1 pages to find out what a remap will get you

only way ur gonna c bigger gains is by upgrading the intercooler, going hybrid, clutch etc etc....you could spend like £3000 and get it to 190-200bhp (alot of money for a 2001 tho)

all im gonna be doing to it performance wise scott is the remap or tuning box,upgraded panel filter and de-restrict airbox and an exhaust system...thinking a miltek one as ive heard they reduce the diesel sound and make it sound alot better whilst increasing performance

its suttle but makes a little difference until i get paid and i can move on to the bigger mods

ok thought i'd update this a little for all my die hard fans out there.....*tumbleweed*
well ive got my 8k hids fitted, got a set of seatcupra.net stickers made which will be getting put onto the rear window... ordered led licence plate bulbs which should arrive today, my rubstrips are being colour coded as we speak,the car is having a full detail done tomorow at 8am and should be scratch free! and i should have a leon cupra bumper for the 23rd off of sly delvechio! so all in all im pretty chuffed and i'll get some pics up as stuff is done....all i need now is to source a boost gauge and pillar pod in grey help

I've got led plate bulbs, but not installed them yet as I couldn't get the bloody bulb case things out of the bumper. But I've misplaced the leds now so can't get them done anyway!

lower, possibly coilies if someone gives me an advantage over lowering springs?

nomad pillar pod-boost and oil
new alpine head unit
and if i've got enough left either a set of leather seats or the pd130 turbo

Good list, but just the turbo would be pointless, you would need bigger injectors to make the most of it, then a new clutch would be needed, ive been there and suffered all this lol
good list, so the mods will be coming thick and fast. why dont you just buy a new cable for you camera? more money on the car 
i contemplated this genius idea but i have no idea where to get one? comet or something? a dunno
there not hard to find hoggy, type camera cable into ebay and voila, theres one at 20p just now but will have ended by time u read this......i think 20p is cheaper than a new camera.
