Hi guys,
So my time with my 2017 Cupra 300 4Drive Estate is almost up.
I have done 61000 miles in the girl. Never had a single issue that wasnt of my own making! Done many road trips; two to Sweden, 2 to France, 3 to Italy (many many alpine passes

) and Autobahned a number of times (speedometer 152mph max)
Made a bunch of OBD11 mods (seatbelt warning delete, 4 indicator blinks, VIM, fan speed, locking bips, etc) which have all been great and i highly recommend this.
Issues:
Cheers!

Issues:
- Aftermarket brakes pads from Pagid and from EBC did not fit correctly on the fronts and i had to go back to OEM. I bought multiple versions from multiple suppliers and the pads were always too small. I don't know why but only OEM fit on the front. Rears were fine and all aftermarket pads fit correctly.
- 2500RPM Hesitation. I have had a hesitation/flat spot in the engine note/pull since about 40000 miles. At exactly 2500rpm regardless of throttle position there is a noticeable flat spot. It mostly ties in to where the turbo kicks in when driving the car in a normal relaxed manner but this can't be the reason when 'on it'... Unfortunately, 2500rpm is also where the gear changes take place when driving normally so at times this flat spot feels worse than it is. I have been unable to find any other EA888 engines owners with the same issue and other than being annoying doesn't seem to be a problem. It is, however, the reason why i won't be keeping the car beyond the warranty term.
- Gearbox feels more sluggish. I don't know if this is actually happening but gearchanges feel more sluggish and 'harder'. Probably due to milage and the 6sp dsg was never super smooth to begin with!
Cheers!
