Hi peeps when I first start my car in the morning the revs sit at about 1300/1400 revs for about 2/3mins then it drops to about 900 revs, but it only does it in the morning or if its been left sat all day, any idea's its done it since I've had it just never got round to sorting it out

Why does it only do it when its been sat all night, if I go out in it in the day it don't do it, if I try to drive off with the high revs it drives like a bag of bob, only for a min or 2 but then its ok, it does it every morning hot, cold, rain, snow. Its not just mornings but that's when its left sat the longest

All cars do it. It's today's version of the choke. Back in the day you used to have to pull the choke out to add more fuel. Now the car does it itself and your revs will be higher for the first couple of minutes.

When the engine is warm, it won't do it. In this weather your engine might still be warm after 4 or 5 hours, so you'll only see it in the mornings after it has been sat all that time.
