Its on the internet, problem is it has to be burnt to CD using a specific program at 1x speed and its very unreliable.

took me 5 attempts to burn it

You have to burn it to a CD, put it in the RNS310 and then you can copy it to the SD card which i have done.

I've got a copy of the 2013 maps but its protected so wont work

AndrewJB - I've looked at mine, and I'm running version 0227, and I'm pretty certain I'm an RNS310, but for some reason, I don't get a boot logo anymore saying what version I am (no idea if it's turned off and can be turned on again).

If I'm on firmware 0227, is it safe to assume that I'm an RNS310?

No problem,

Another question for you, in your guide you say upgrade to 0351, and then upgrade to 0351 again using a different file, but the links to the two files are the same link. Just wondered if you may have put the same link twice by mistake?

Can I pay someone to send me a cheap memory card/stick with the update on it?
I don't have a CD burner, and most importantly, I'm lazy

I originally used a German guide and they told me to flash that file twice.

First time you flash it, it puts the version as xx or something.

I followed the guide and it worked.. You could try only flashing it once but it might not work.

No problem, as long as you were aware it was exactly the same file :)

Is there a specific reason that you can't start the engine once the upgrade is running?
