I got mine free with a deal if i bought the car there and then.
Was going to anyway but it is always good to get a deal from the stealers!!

Plus i dont know why you need a drill ... mine was stright out the package and already had the 5 holes drilled.

FYI:
a bit modified armrest :

and glove box as well

I was bored of finding both glovebox and armrest inner surfaces cheap and crappy so I decided to change it more in "Audi" way :) It looks better and it prevents small moving things from doing a rattle. Besides, I modified armrest to get rid of the small red dots in black leather to go with my black/grey/white FR interior as you can see in second pic.

Hi,

I have just had an original SEAT one fitted at my local dealers, Hughes Seat of Farnham Common in bucks. It was £164.50 inc VAT and they fitted it for free. £164.50 is the quoted price in the SEAT accessories brochure, top job and it look really good too!

I put one of these in yesterday and it was quick and easy. It took longer to get my drill out of the shed than to fit it, lol.
I didn't pre drill any holes, I set my drill to the lowest torque setting and 5 self tappers later all done.

The hardest bit which isn't that hard tbh is getting the inner lining sticky stuff in the right place.

Does the arm rest get in the way of shifting at all? and has anyone fitted one to an fr550, just hoping the cupra seats dont interfere in any way.

Thanks

Ant

No worries about the armrest getting in the way of changing gear at all, i assume the cupra seats are the same as i have in my LCR (shape wise anyway) and i don't have any problems with armrest fouling my seats, the only thing it does slightly get in the way of i the handbrake - but how often do you use that!
