Looking after the nipper and grafting hard. Still got the Ibiza and had to do a little extra after a fuel pump died on me. Keeping the local stage 3's in check.

i was told by mike from jabba that you'll max out 550's at 430-440bhp so for you to get 460 with 440's is amazing. put it this way i've trapped 116mph with 400bhp and traction,you've trapped 124mph with probably no traction! i'd say you've got 460bhp for sure!

Sorry guys I cant read these threads, I nearly just ordered a new turbo to bolt on and was looking at stand alone ecu's. It took a long time to break the habbit I cant be giving into temptation anymore .

Its mad. I put my foot to the boards in 2nd set the front tyres ablaze finally gripped at 7500rpm until 8k, banged it into 3rd and lit it up again and banged of the limiter and finally got on with it in 4th. I could feel the g-box begging for mercy. Nope I have been luckly for a long time when it comes to breakages. I'll stay as I am although I was told I could run 28-30psi right through instead of 26psi dropping to 23psi top end.
Nope I'll leave well alone, its working and screaming and keeping the local stage 3's in there place.
Actually it needs a full respray and good freshen up its now 7 years old and 69k. I will probably stick a new turbo on in the next 16-20 months and aim for 480-500bhp.

I cannot imagine deploying 400+ bhp through a FWD Polo chassis Ibiza.I thought a MKIV Golf was a challenge at times.
Must be amusing for sure.
Do these big big turbo's spool later with less aggression?
Surely TT or S3 would be the way to go for converting to these levels?
I find my small APR kitted Golf interesting on deploying it's power but having tried the APR Stage 3 in the MK5 chassis it's light years ahead in terms on handling and deploying the grunt.
Shame about the manifold Hooch....are you having to fork out every time to put right and are they offering to fit the manifold each time there's a fault?

ive have to remove and refit each time. 1st time i dont mind.....2nd is taking the biscuit

well iv just read the full thread,OMG what a monster,and its full of highs and lows,i just want to say what a great job you have done hooch,your a big insperation,and the full tread is a top read,i realy hope this works out well for mate and will be keeping an eye on the thread!1 days i may have the gutts to try something like this!
Well Hooch I was at Crail yesterday and a 800 BHP Rally Focus driven by a Scottish rally driver got a terminal of 130 MPH, which is very very close to your 126 MPH.
After seeing the cars doing the 1/4 mile for the first time your car must be a beast.
There was a mega modified Skyline doing 12.8's with terminals of 112 MPH
This was using launch control aswell.
