N249 bypass
Decided to give this a go this morning.
Removed the DV vac pipe form (red circle) and joined it to the t-piece (green circle). Removed original pipe from t-piece in green circle and have left that unattached.
Ran a new vacuum pipe from the one-way valve (grey thing just below red circle) to the small box on the left of the engine. Left all other pies in-situ in case I want to revert back to original set-up!

Went for a brief test drive but didn't notice any real changes just yet!

Smoked side repeaters
To cut a long stroy short... fitted one, didn't like it as it didn't fit properly and the bulb in the back was a bit of a bodge-job. Removed and now back to standard!

Just a picture to compare the colour of the originals and the smoked set!

That looks smart, you have room for another two next to it ;)

mike...are they that bad (smoked side repeaters)...i was thinking of getting a set?..what was wrong with them?

They are OK but... the bulb holder doesn't fit in the back properly (you just have to push it in and it doesn't really "click in" or anything). The unit sits proud of the body when its in place (about 1mm but its obvious and doesn't look right). Because I'm a bit anal and for these two reasons I have not fitted them. Want them?

I might get some tinting spray and do the originals.
