Anyway, now the thread is running.
The fuel flap lock motor is identical to the boot lock motor,
except for the odd yard of clock spring that winds it back to the start position when the power stops.
I used one for fixing my boot lock after taking it apart to get rid of the spring.
So no, you can't use a boot lock motor to fix the fuel flap.
But yes, you can use a fuel flap motor to fix the boot lock, once you take it apart & toss the spring.
