Ive got the exact same problem on idle, seems to be extreemley common. I also get a grunting/vibrating noise coming from the engine between 1600-2300rpm in 4th 5th and 6th gear. Ive been told its a possible worn DMF? Any ideas?

Most worn DMF's rattle badly at tickover not sure about grunting noises. :D

A vibrating noise between 1600-2300rpm is when the turbo's on full boost so the engine mounts will be fully stressed and perhaps something is touching the cars bodywork somewhere ?

It will be the intercooler pipe touching the fuel filter housing, that sorted mine out.

Ahh, I'll check that out then. It does only seem to be in 4th 5th and 6th gear when more than half throttle but then again, I can hear my DMF rattle/tick on idle, it seems to quieten down alot when the engine is warm.

Yeh so was mine, because the turbo runs at it's highest pressure in 4th 5th and 6th gear.
U will see the fuel filter behind the drivers head lamp and the housing around it, the intercooler pipe is the large bore plastic pipe the runs next to it, they will be touching or very close, I used some gum i have at work its like black chewing gum lol, stuck that between them did the trick, u could use some 2 sided tape, my mate used an old kitchen sponge still worked.
