Not at all its actually a JCT600 dealership - I'm surprised they don't have the dealership more centrally located to the cities of Leeds or Bradford. The next closest is Huddesrfield, York and Doncaster.
Ah OK. I’m getting my car through Leasing Options who told me it’s coming through DM Keith Leeds. But I can only see them with a Skoda dealership in Leeds, so wondered who the dealership in Ilkley was.
I know DM Keith have Cupra in York, but I was told I could pick my car up from Leeds or have it delivered. So I’ll need to clarify with them exactly what’s going on. 👍🏼

Yeah I did a lot of digging around and Nationwide / UKCarline came up the cheapest. The deciding factor was that UKCarline charge £1000 + VAT to cancel and Nationwide only charge £234!

I actually have a 4 hour test drive this Friday, so that should make my decision easier. I am going for 2 years as I plan to go EV soon and this is just to tie me over for a couple of years. The lead time is mid-late October but that's perfect for me, as I don't need the car until November. So I can secure the deal now, and then look forward to it for the next 6 months.

I test drove the Golf R last week which was really fun and pretty much the same engine. We need a bit more space with having a little one so the Formentor is the perfect size. Hope your test drive goes OK, are you testing the 1.5 or the 2.0 engine?
Your scenario pretty much matched mine!

Gone for two years of hot hatch petrol before I go full ev.

I wasn't aware of nationwides low cancellation figure tho, lease loco is £1000 but then again i am not planning on cancelling.

My delivery of a vz2 310 is also october👍

There were about 10 parked up at the jct600 garage at Rawdon near to the air port last weekend. Presume that’s where you collect from.

Not anything in particular will just be interested to see what your thoughts are after. I'm slightly worried about the driver seating position from some reviews Ive seen they say its not the best. Im fairly tall and got use to being relatively high up in my Tiguan so not sure if I'll like being much lower in this. Also wonder how good the rear visibility is.

So I finished my test drive with the VZ2 2.0 and I have ordered one haha.

Plenty of adjustment in the seats to go up or down and in my opinion, the overall visibility is really good, including the rear window.

Couldn't find much fault with it and I was able to return 29-30mpg of city driving based on my normal style! Very happy with it.

I ordered it straight after the test drive haha.

I don't plan on cancelling but a lot can change in 5-6 months so I just wanted to cover my butt!

How exciting!!

Took delivery on 9 April, got £1600 dealer contribution into my account and since then nothing. No money has been taken out and DD still not set up.
I've been in touch with the lease company who said I needed to get in touch with VAG. VAG had no record of the car!
I've checked online and the car is taxed etc. I'm expecting a big bill in a few months time. Anyone else had this happen?

Did you do PCP with a dealership?

I had a similar issue with my current BMW. They took the deposit out of the correct account, but messed up the direct debit. For 3 months they told me it was correct and I should expect the DD to come out, but it still never did. Turns out they messed up the account details and were charging some other poor person for my car.

It also affected my credit as it looked like I had missed payments, so maybe check that all the account details are correct?

That’s great Im seriously thinking either V2 of VZ2 as well. Just comes down to how much I want the 305 bhp

What also sold it to me, was in the Golf (especially the R), it felt like I had the power and the car felt like it always wanted me to put my foot down. With the Formentor, its different. Its really tame in comfort but then when you want some fun, put it in Cupra and S mode, it flies.

The launch control was one of the more aggressive launches I have tried! Even got a bit of wheels spin haha.

Considering the lesser tuned versions still return similar MPG figures (aside from the hybrid of course), and the VZ2 has incredible deals on at the moment... why pass it up? ;)

By lease company, do you mean broker? And by VAG do you mean VWFS? I would contact dealer and ask them to check documents and talk to finance company. Maybe they messed up something.

Many thanks, yes broker and VWFS.
Checked all bank details, they are correct. I'll try again on Tuesday.

It must be miscommunication between dealer who sent documents to VWFS. They have to find the contract and VWFS will set up direct debit and will take all the payments.

Has anyone had any leases through Nationwide Vehicle Contracts?

I am about to go through the application and the online reviews look good... but its always nice to have feedback from people who have gone through it themselves. The only issue seems to be delays, which is actually what I want as I need the car from November onwards.

£284 inc VAT p/m
10,000 miles p/y
£3400 Deposit
Solid White

I think this is a good deal?
Yes I’ve used Nationwide for a number of years now and have a VZ3 on order with them. Always found them easy to deal with and usually the cheapest around. Can’t go wrong with this company if looking to lease. Just be aware that leasing deals are going up due to demand and shortages.

I paid my processing fee today and just activated my account! Now its just a waiting game.

One thing I really like about Nationwide, is their cancellation fee. A lot of other companies can charge upwards of £1000. With Nationwide, all you lose is the processing fee. It certainly helps with peace of mind as a lot can happen between now and the uprising of SkyNet.

I got my 245 e hybrid vz2 the other day. Hortons Seat through What Car Leasing.

Metallic silver and blue. 10 day delivery of in stock car.

30 months (same monthly cost as 36 month weirdly)
15000 miles per year
£2600 + vat deposit
£1300 cash back from dealer as discount. (makes it roughly 3 + 29 month lease)
£393 pcm plus vat (472 Inc vat)

Could have reduced it by quite a bit to go for 48 months (about 40 pcm less), but I don't want to be tied in that long, I usually change cars every couple of years.

I ordered my VZ2 310 DSG on 13 May via UK Carline 9 + 23 8k miles £293pm (incl VAT) ex-maintenance. I have just checked the site and as they forewarned me, the "offer price" has ended and it's now £3481.84 + £386.87 pm (incl VAT) for 8k miles, ex-maintenance (https://www.ukcarline.co.uk/car-lea...0-tsi-310ps-vz2-dsg-4wd?mileage=10000&term=24). Interestingly, there is a banner across the picture stating an October delivery.

UKCarline were the cheapest I think. For anyone interested, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts have also ended their deal!

For the VZ2 310 DSG @ 10,000 miles, 24 months for 9+23 initial its now £375.33 inc VAT (£3,377 deposit)
