4 digit code i supose...

not to sure mate....

is that sharon key a siemens one????

Have u got a genuine ross tech lead?

I don't know if it's a siemens but I've read that that's the part number that works with the mk2/mk3 beezas so I guess it's ok,,,

I don't have the genuine ross tech lead, just a normal home made one and it works with block 17,,, I remember even having a dials test on that block,,,

Think I'll end up sticking the immo thingy into the new key from the spare one I got and it'll be it,,, one thing, how do I remove it since it seems glued in?

sorry, I was talking BS since mine is used and that says it's new,,, and then it's very cheap anyway if you think of how much they cost from new at the dealer,,, just ask for the original package to be sure it's new,,,

I'm italian so no 01 plate,,, anyway, as per my signature, mine is a year 2000 mk3 ibiza tdi sport,,,

have you tried by changing the baud rate? I remember having problems to access my mother's polo block #1 but then I changed the baud rate and it worked,,,

can't really remember exactly mate,,, IIRC I played a bit with 9600 and 0 but I might be talking crap,,, try a few values and see it won't do any harm, just remember what is your baud rate before you begin,,,

u can't read it in vag.com...

u would need a special hand held reader which can do it....

i think you can buy them off car cable/computer sites about £120 which just reads SKC codes only.....

you could ask the original dealer your car was bought from.....they may help you//
