New blade arrived this morning - just had it cut at local lock & key for £1.76. Works in the door (well, it goes in) gonna attach it to the key tonight.

How do I cut out the old transponder for the immobiliser from my spare key?

it shouldnt need cutting out the old original spare key just prise open the key then remove the cream colours rubber and the transponder will be loose, was in mine and then swap it with you one in your flip key, some are stuck in but mine wasnt and my dads work van one isnt

Mine was well stuck in...

My attempts to remove the Transponder resulted in dust, hence the start of my troubles..

Came out in about 1000 pieces

No rubber in mine either.Mine wasn't stuck in though t was just held in very tightly by a plastic clip. A bit of careful cutting of the clip with a craft knife and out it came.
