Mine hits 160 at around 4k and is at 170+ @ 6k+rpm.

The logs i was looking at the other day were done with IC etc:doh: 176 was the best i saw last night. Highest intake temp was 25 deg C:D That was even after 4 full flat out 1st,2nd,3rd, 4th runs. IC and intake doing there job nicely!!:funk:

well ive just been out with mikeibizacupra, and my MAF doesnt seem to be at fault, it pulls the same readings with his MAF and a different air filter.

What else could be stopping the airflow to the MAF sensor? surely its not the turbo?

:(

do you have some logs of block 115/118 ? i'm curious to see if boost/temp are in relation with maf readings.

I'd try and pipe your standard cooler back in just for a few runs, if your airflow is higher then you know where the problem lies dude.

I shall do this at the weekend matey, would that cause low airflow then if there was an issue? surely the maf readings though are'nt to do with the intercooler?

TIP looks fine, ill go under (oohh err) at the weekend and check its all seated properly with no kinks etc.

anybody got another std exhaust/cat setup for me to borrow? :D

I am just fed up now of trying to fix it all etc.

Intercooler 1st port of call.

Anything else you reckon could help this poor sole out? :'( the other thing i might do, is fit the ecu to a k03s car, ensure its pulling the airflow, so its not my car at fault or soemthing.

Me and Mark were chatting about this last night...the ECU swap is a fairly easy check to run but you'd have to bear in mind that your map was setup for your FMIC and it might run a little 'too' hot for a car with a side mount (pull more timing and hold the car back). Looking at your boost logs, running your ECU on a with a K03 wouldnt cause any issues as your boost levels are still well within the K03 turbos capabilities.

yep no problemo, for a quick run as you say it should at least tell me if its my car or not :)

Well we now know its a restirction of some sort, cos it wouldnt be the MAP requesting 146 would it? doesnt work like that surely. :)

Bit heath robinson but if you took the cat out etc so you have a free flowing zorts could you di a quick run to see if that helps? As that woud mean its the restrictions in your zorst?

i've just spoken with nick, and he said it could well be the exhaust, if the gasses arent escaping quick enough, its not gonna be pulling in the readings.

we seem to think its definatly the out side not the intake now, wierd aint it.

Now all i need tyo do, is before i go out and buy a whole exhaust system, find soembody with full milltek/catback to try out on the car.

that is going to be a real long shot, but worth a go. Helpful people are always good to know! :)

I think the phrase if a job is worth doing, it's worth doing properly comes into play here.

Proper half arsed attempt really, and you wonder why you've got problems!

Wouldnt the DP be the biggest cause of these problems? BF DP and milltek back id say. And im sure there was a milltek cat back going in the for sale section?
