Nowhere near, i.e. Norway.
For the middle one or do i just use the original one?

The middle consist of the following numbers

6Y9 955 707 A - Skoda Fabia estate rear wiper arm
6Y0 955 425 - Skoda Fabia estate rear wiper blade
6Y9 955 435 A - Skoda Fabia estate rear wiper covercap

If you go for the estate cap, you've to Dremmel out a slot for the washer fluid to escape. It'll look nicer than if you choose the hatch cap, 6Y6 955 435.

Can be hard to explain, but there will be a gap between cap and arm if you go the estate arm/hatch cap route. (No, this is not all babble)

The pic shows the "full estate version", no gap visible.

I've never had issues with aero wipers (Polo/Touran).
I used cap 6Q6 955 435 A or 6Q6 955 435 B.
Pretty sure thats the cap that I ordered - it's longer than standard and can't clip on the arm properly as it pushed against the window.

I will double check but its definately the part # I ordered.

I really want it to fit as the wiper works well and looks good - just the cap wouldnt stay and would pop off when the blade moved...

Any of those shops should be able to do you a cheap belt sander.

If you don't feel like splashing out then a sheet of 80 grit sandpaper will remove the plastic fairly fast as well.

I got a retro fit for my 2000 LC and the hook on the arm was the wrong way round.
Hard to explain, but you know how the hooks are downward faceing on the windscreen arms?
Well the one on the back was facing upward. Theres no way the blade was ever fitting and the:w4nk: off of fleabay just wont answer me on the subject.:censored:[:@]:censored:
Anyone got any ideas??

Sorry to hear, and sorry to say the following but sometimes a VAG dealer is the way to go.

Think I might do what v-g did, Touran Aero with cap 6Q6 955 435 A or 6Q6 955 435 B. Thanks for posting the pics v-g.

Kenny has got the right idea though, wiperless, but as Tom says his car demands it to be wiperless!! One hell of a motor Kenny, given me a few ideas.

I've been toying with the idea of going wiperless but tbh I use the rear wiper more than I think to go ahead and do it.

Yeah same here. Too cold and rainy in UK most times.

And I'm still trying to get used to the visibility at the rear. Massive diff to the pug 106. Dont feel confident at all doing 3 pointers, blindside is completely blind. Just hope nothing has crept up on you without noticing!

The rear wiper not working on a hatch back should be an MOT failure, dso if it's missing you should fail your MOT.

I have a Fabia, best results. I did have a direct aero replacement and tried the the other aero's but they were not as good as the fabia which I got for £1 from a scrap yard.

Meeeep Meeeeep !!!!!
Had the Touran one. Bought it from VAG-Parts. Squeeled worse than the standard one.
Bought the Fabia kit for £12 from Bickertons Skoda in Sheffield. Was excellent and still is over 1 1/2 years later.

Reqarding the Polo/Touran rear wipers.
The cap and arm are Exactly the same part. Its the wiper blade thats different lengths.

To fit a Fabia arm you need the following:

Fabia hatch cap, Fabial Estate arm and blade.
Don't go for the Estate cap unless your good at guessing exactly where the water will come out.

Touran/Polo cap will need trimming down all the way around the bottom to fit properly. About 1/2cm. Easily done with a Stanley Knife, belt sander etc

Mk2 Leon aero wiper is the same as the Fabia except slightly shorter and slightly rounded. Same as the latest Audi A3 version which will also fit the Mk1 Leon.
