Ok, I'm starting to get really cheesed off with my car now.....
I've replaced the lambda sensor which has got rid of the fault code.
I've tried a different N75 valve.
A new Maf has been fitted.
Problem I've been having (pg.1) is still present.
I've tried doing some VAGcom logs with Copra from this site.
We could check the fault codes (none), check ABS etc but couldn't get it to communicate with the ecu to do any logging. It's fine with just the ignition on (selecting blocks to log) but as soon as you fire the engine up we keep getting some protocol error message. I don't know anything about VAGcom but Copra said it works fine on his Leon Cupra.
I'm reluctant to keep chucking money at this in hope that it will cure the
problem (plugs and coils) especially as I'm getting no fault codes. Surely if these were duff I'd be experiencing other problems???
Can anyone shed any light on the above as to what may be happening (the car or VAGcom)?.
Ideally, before going back to Jabbasport I'd like to explore the options and at least do some logging but I'm running out of patience now (and money).
