try doubling up your std filter mate. Ive messed around with loads of induction kits/filters etc all are **** and seem to destroy the bottom end torque and use more fuel.
Leave your std ring filter there, buy another one the same, mount them exactly one on top of other and seal the interface, then throw the cover on top of it all. youl need to seal the holes that originaly had screws in them in the top/centre of the cover and use longer screws to attatch thru the new higher cover to the engine (make sure it presses down tight for a good seal tho), keep the existing plastic inlet hose at the side and just extend it with pipe down to about the wing area or something to get sum decent cold air in there.By far the best airfilter option for me in the 1.4 engine nice rumbly sound all over and not just when ur flooring it, cheap as chips and doesnt make it drink more fuel or loose the low end torque.
