wilkeh I think you might wanna look at Ma7ner's other thread where his entire TIP and intercooler were full of fluid...not a good thing.

Its at the garage now getting pressure tested.

BTW Ma7ner thinking this thread might have had something to do with your (huge) problem at the moment...no?

Wilkeh, as I said on first page of this thread, you'll really have to browse around where its leaking. There have been a few pointers on these 2 pages of where its most likely. Turbo if you played around with that lately (I see you have k03s. when was this done and did you replace washers?), radioter might be leaking which could be because your laguna fmic has hit something and thus hit the radiotor (nogutsnoglory had this happen to his IIRC)
also check the sensor and bottle of the actual coolant container itself.
See if you see a white/pinkish dried up residue anywhere on the block...if so there is your leak.

Lastly, top it up with water for example (cheaper) and run it till its hot, remembering not to go beyond 2 hours if thats when yours is empty lol, and see where its leaking. It will most problably start leaking only when on temp due to higher pressures

good luck and let us know

Thanks for the help buddy. Just been to the exhaust garage to get the rattle sorted so when he had it on the ramp I had a quick nosey undernearth. Turns out it's actually coming from the bottom of the rad so it must of been where I've clipped a curb parking. Bought some Wyns Stop Leak and all is sorted. Hopefully! :D

Wonder if anyone can help. Coolant level in my Cupra R keeps dropping, warning light comes on every couple of weeks - happened twice now. I've also had the footwell leak issue, in both footwells. Passenger side footwell leak is now sorted - garage re-fitted the pollen filter cover. Thought this would solve the drivers side wet footwell but it isn't drying out.
Now with this coolant level problem (leak?), I'm wondering if it could be a coolant leak into the driver's footwell? I've done a search on here for this particular issue but can't find anything.
The passenger side mat was soaked with a brown liquid, but as I say this leak now seems to be sorted! I can't actually see a leak into the driver's footwell, just wet.
Any help you can provide would be appreciated!
Cheers.

check the coolant pipe coming from the front of the block to the rad, as they rub and wear through and leak near the fans, just a thought

Would that cause a leak into the drivers footwell though? I can't see any sign of a leak onto the driveway which makes me think the footwell and coolant problems are linked.
After searching further on the forums there are comments about leaking heater matrix into the footwell, could this cause a drop in coolant levels? (I know very little about the workings of cars as you can tell!!!)
