i've heard the aux pump work today after a longish drive.... so thats blown that idea

if all this coolant waws leaking so much would this not cause my car to overheat? doesnt rise above 90' but when it beeps 3 times and flashes the water in the coolant reservour is just below the sensor-only takes about 700ml to fill back up if that so may not overheat with just that much lost.

Well its happened again, taken jut over a week to flash up again, noticed after a hard drive steam coming from under me bonnet so had a quick look and can see thats its coming from one of the lines to the turbo! boll*cks,

least i've got plenty of time on me hands now to fix it- hope i can do it without taking the mani off...

well at least you know where it coming from now.

and to answer your previous question, the lever is only an expansion tank so at long as there is some in there this indicates the rest of the system had coolant in it. So no it wont affect cooling as you have described it. (although if its leaking its best to drive it easily and get it sorted asap).

and no you do not need to take off mani to get to the coolant line on the turbo.

On previous page I said that the coolant line is the last line you can get to, so practically when the entire turbo is off, but I was mistaken with oil return line.

So the coolant line is easy enough to take off (well a lot easier than oil return line haha)

Buy a new washer and job done. Part number you can find on list needed to do K03s change. there is 2 washers on there one for oil one for coolant.

good luck

Edit: the coolant line takes 2 washers. 1 infront of the line, and 1 behind

if the seat near you is like one near me, they'll let you look on the system, so you should be able to point out which one you need, take it is the coolant feed right on top of the turbo, (the one you can see easy) if so then dont need to take mani off, should be able to get in there and do it easy enough

No you do not need to take manni off as I said before. When I changed my k03 for k03s I think I didn't even take off manni...

as for which of the 2 washers, not sure, however they cost absolute peanuts so wouldn't be a problem buying both.
