best way to be !! rather that than them going rusty and loosing everything !! would love to see this beast in the flesh...maybe when its back on the road ill see it at a show sometime !!!

Yup, looks that way, going to do it right, 20mm rods, 83mm Mahle pistons and stronger end caps, want to do the bottom end for a bit more power if I want to go down that route again in the future.

I am going to do the exhaust valves too but its alot easier to take the head off to do the inlets in the future, than it is to strip the bottom end down.

Wings have been removed for some custom engine bay work, going to do some smoothing, weight saving and wheel clearance work,

Sounds like your going to be a busy guy.. This is going to be an animal.. Good luck with it all bud :)

Started on the engine bay today, see who can spot what's been removed or smoothed.

Also put the front end back on to line things up incase there's any welding to be done.

Got a price on a rebore, £120 which seems reasonable. They need the pistons to finish the bore off so that will have to wait, I want to get Christmas out the way and start my new job before I commit to over £1000 of engine parts.

Big up for all the effort you're putting into your car mate! One of the best looking Ibizas I've seen. ;)

The thing I really wondered your front bumper. I mean the hole for the FMIC. Any pictures of how has it been done? You know when you cut out the middle "line" (non native english, sorry :)) which would be covering the FMIC, how are the sides adjusted then to make it look so "oem"? Looks really great!
