Electric Wing Mirrors

A quick question:

Should both retractable electronic wing mirrors retract the same distance?

My O/S one appears to be sticking out further than than the N/S when retracted.

Yep. that's normal. God knows why though.

isnt the outside air temp in one of them? maybe thats to do with it

i noticed that just this morning - 'hrm', i thought, 'the left mirror has stopped retracting and the right one is still going'.

only for a little bit longer, but yes reckon you're right
