Looks impressive, 250bhp and 275lbs ft would be a fantastic result for me toworrow with the proper map and fueling, 240bhp and 260bhp would still make me happy to be honest anything less would not be so good.

You could feel the leanness pulling the car back!! If sorting the fuelling can make it pull as well at the top end as it does in the mid range, that'll be a stormer of a car!!

The cars running very rich at the top end, not lean thank god. But only getting 200 miles to a 45 litre tank, so the sooner it's mapped the better. If we can get another 10-15hp out of it with less of a boost spike, I'll be more than happy!

As my maf is knackered should i buy another one the same or would i need to get a s3 one for conversion anyway.If so would mine run ok on s3 maf,just thinking ahead thats all. Andy

You can take the sensor out of you new maf, and put it in a larger housing (off an s3/tt/R) later. Maf housings are easy to source.

I might add for those who don't know... that the comparisons are Golf running E05 and Ibiza running IHI. (power and torque runs are mixed tho mark.... different runs.)
Golf is std motor Ibiza has lower CR and gas flowed head, which pushed up power delivery higher up the rev band.
E05 is stonking tho, having driven Jon's MKIV.... Very sweet, and nice torque...
Be interesting to see how the Ibiza E05 compares.

madmile won't be back from Jabba till 9 ish tonight as he was at Jabba longer than expected .
Will let him give you the figures, but i will say the Ibiza doesn't fair nearly as well as the Golf eo5 running kkko3 map

What you have to remember with his car is its only a Turbo swap with Catback zorst ,
Better results to be had from further mods ( CC/Fmic , Sports cat & downpipe )
I Personally will still be going ahead with the EO5 so a second set of figures wii=ll be posted up in a couple of weeks time to compare with Madmiles.

yeah i heard sub 230 but wanted to check. But... No downpipe and cat, no fmic!!! WTF is going on there!! surely its Pointless going for a remap until then as advantage wont be taken of mods??

NOT QUITE that bad but a BIT off the 250 bhp mark i expected .
Madmile will reveal all as i have only got bits of info off him over the phone .
What he did say was when driving back it bent the speedo needle past the indicated 160 mph mark so still a quick little car with more to come

What you have to remember is most decent kkko4 tuners claim 230 bhp on the Ibiza anyway and thats with more mods than whats on madmile car so to get what he got isn't all doom and gloom as there is room for improvement,
No need to go for a remap when CC /'Fmic sportscat & downpipe are on as i think he said mike told him there was enough percentage left in the mapp to compensate for these mods.
