So glad he is gone, all he ever did was go onto topics regarding modification and bang on about the fact the he hates people that modify 'new cars' and how he has some Elise beating rocket that used to run at 60 bhp but now runs at 170+ because its 'well tuned' although he also stated the same car has gone through 4 engines........

I've just read through all this thread (couldn't be bothered getting out of bed) and I'm really impressed by these tuning boxes. I've got a mk 2 remapped atm but for future reference what you guy's have been doing/testing is excellent. Would definitely consider one of these over a proper remap if I was doing it on my next car.

And on the subject of Skidmark, LMAO. I kinda wanna meet him, just because it would be funny

Do me a favour Dean, AMD are advertising pretty piss poor remaps for mk7 GTI, now this might be B.S. and they are saying 35+bhp to play it safe while they develop it, but can you find out if they really are doing ecu tuning.

As I look at AMD home page it has an article about making 310 with a milltek, which is pretty much identical to what the Shark-in-a-Box got the other day, so im sensing some plagurism here.

Don't think im that lazy, I have but it only indicated a 19 bhp increase which I think is a bit low hence trying to get updated figures. I know celtic uning done one for my previous car which was a 1.6 and they were claiming a maximum of 145 but that's high so average about 135 to be safe whereas on this is states 124. And also it doesn't state anything about the dsg version

That's 25% which seems pretty good and realistic.

You might not have looked at the crd-t. The t means turbo and it adjust boost and fuelling like a remap. The others just do fuelling.
