Had a phone call this morning from a well known mapping company that i had e-mailed last week about a remap. They could give me an extra 25 BHP and 35 lb/ft of torque for £399 and this would take them 4-6 hours.Or the other option would be a DPF off (since i had expressed a concern in my e-mail about remap and DPF) "a DPF off is no problem its just a matter of replacing the DPF with another pipe". At this point i said ill get back to you and hung up! What do you guys/girls think of that one.......... :D:D.......

they have been doing DPF off for a while but they are working on getting it not to display the light on the dash, thats the problem. so they can map your car and remove DPF filter but you will have a nice yellow light stairing at u

if i was to remove the DPF would HAVE to have the car mapped?

also the pipe that was to replace the DPF would have to have the sensors on??

what will the light be on the dash ?

thanks :)

there are specific DPF-off maps being developed just now. the gains are about 40-50bhp, so it's not worth doing it if the tuner is only say 25bhp gain. the DPF delete pipe on it's own will give you car another 10-15bhp alone. I'm gonna see if Revo perfect their option. Or hope my local GIAC dealer gets a DPF delete option. Supposedly GIAC were developing a DPF delete map and downpipe.
