Hi all new here and need some advice. Recently bought a Seat Leon FR MK3. Car runs like a dream and loving it! Have taken the car back to the garage for a few little issues but my main concern was (and they say it’s normal and showing no fault codes) was when you turn the car off the fans stay running for a few minutes (really loud)! Have had the fan relay switch and DPF flushed out so they say and it’s still happening. The car idles at 1000rpm also. Any advice on what it is and what I should do?? Any would be appreciated

It’s what happens when the car starts a DPF regen cycle but then doesn’t complete it (because you’ve stopped the car). Take it out for a decent run, let it complete the cycle fully and it’ll stop doing it

Hi mate. Unfortunately have tried many things took it for a 50 mile round trip and still didn’t do anything. They had the DPF off and cleaned out and a new pressure sensor also but still kept doing it, in the end had enough and got my money back
