Well JBS have now replied and said I need to replace the pressure sensor as this seems to the what the issue is. Basically unplug and plug a new one been quoted 34.99 "076 906 051A" Exhaust Temp Sensor.
JBS also said I need to use vag-com to measure the soot the sensor is picking up it should be 0 if it is then the sensor is working fine with the dpf delete mapping.
I have vag-com but to tell you the truth I am a little unsure on what I need to do to test the soot coming out of the exhaust and if it is working correctly then why by a new sensor? The DPF light is off at the moment but has done this twice already.
Would like to know
how to measure the soot with VAG-Com I have version 1.4, 3, 50, 5.1
can anyone guild me I can hook it up to my laptop ok and it connects to the car ok. just not sure on what I need to select to read the soot readings.
Also to adapt a new sensor is that all it takes me to turn the engine off and on around 7-8 times nothing more ie: drive the car at certain speeds? or at ? revs
Cheers fellers
