Right so finished the detail ready for the RR day tomorrow. Interior is already protected with Gtechniq i1 on the fabric making them almost waterproof.

Vents and crevasses dusted.

Then c6 applied to the dash, door cards, steering wheel etc.

Then buffed off.

Then out with the metrovac 500.

All set.

So a cracking day at AmD today for the SCN rolling road meet. Great to finally put owners faces to their cars. Thanks to DK and Tom for the organisation and good to meet another Maidstone local Ross.

Great to meet such nice down to earth people with a common interest and look at some lovely motors.

Got the old girl on the rollers again after the mods I have done since the stage 2 was set up a couple years ago.

Running lower than previously but should just need some adjustment and tweaking to the map to suit the additional hardware etc.

Will get her booked back in later in the year to fine tune. Looking into PCV delete and catch can to remove potential boost leaks before this.

So as it stands after the AmD SCN meet the other day I have seen so much more potential in my car. Being able to look around other stunning LCR's has opened my eyes to a lot more than I already had planned. Starting with my engine bay, which previously I thought was nice and trick,.... Apparently not lol.

So watch this space for a lot more engine bling.

More red silicone hoses.
One of D.K's polished intake manifolds and carbon fibre surround.
Wrinkle black painted rocker cover and throttle body.
Lots of other little bits and pieces to smarten it up.

But my next project in the engine bay is going to be PCV delete and catch can installation. Not only will this tidy the bay up but also remove possible boost leaks.

Have been speaking to people including Richy from here who has been more than helpful and looked at some great guides and have been getting a shopping list together.

Yes I have a 42 draft stealth can ready to go on mate. Just need to get my arse in gear and make the time soon to sort it. Really want it on.

So tonight I thought I would get to prepping the engine bay a bit for the catch can and pcv delete.

Only location really was on the firewall which meant removing the following relay box...

So removed the air box to get access and slid the box off of the bracket and took the relay out....

Then removed the lid part of the main loom tunnel and re housed the relay within there...

Then put the air box back in. Nice big space and a bracket to mount to.

Placed the catch can order too.

Will have red decals rather than white though.

Not much more going on at the moment while waiting for the catch can to be fabricated and shipped.

Refurbed my centre caps though. They were very bad.

Rather than pay £15 a piece for oem ones DK supplied me these...

Not bad for a few quid.....

Stealthed the drivers door look with plasti dip. Totally reversible.

Thought about getting a de lock kit and getting the cap sprayed properly but didn't like the idea of only having one remote locking key and being unable to get in if battery dies or I lost the key. This was the cheaper alternative for the time being!

Brodit phone holder.

Hughes engineering rear strut brace.

Should be fitted this weekend.

Catch can is still being fabricated and will be another 3 weeks or so, that's on hold for a bit now.

Brodit phone holder arrived today. The bracket mount fits to the centre vent and the holder screws onto this.

Have a perfect sized length usb cable to run from my phone to my radio usb too. Will fit this tonight.

Save it rattling around the centre console and means I can use it's sat nav etc too!
